Documentation - Status Window

The Counteragent status window lets you know at a glance how Counteragent is performing.

Under the General box header you will see when your demo expires or the application version if you are running a registered copy. In the General box are listed the number of messages that Counteragent has received from EIMS, the number of messages that were skipped immediately (due to being SMTP Auth exempt or an EIMS Authorized Relay), and the number of messages delivered back to EIMS.

In the ClamAV box header, you will see the version of ClamAV that is installed, the virus scanner status (On or Off), and the version of the ClamAV databases that are installed. Inside the box you will see how many messages are queued and waiting to be scanned, how many have already been scanned, how many infected messages were found, how many suspicious messages were found, and how many messages were skipped by the virus scanner. A message may be skipped at this stage due to a whitelist entry or being too large.

In the SpamAssassin box header, you will see the version of SpamAssassin that is installed and the spam scanner status (On or Off). Inside the box you will see the number of messages queued for spam scanning, how many have been scanned, how many were found to be spam, how many spamtraps have been received, and how many messages have been skipped. A message may be skipped at this stage due to a whitelist entry.

Below the SpamAssassin box you may periodically see messages pertaining to something Counteragent is doing. This may include updating the ClamAV database, etc.
